Debora Menieur

DÉBORA MENIEUR NÚÑEZ

Executive Director

Débora Menieur Núñez graduated Summa Cum Laude, double majoring in Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development and Human Resources with a Minor in Psychology from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Arecibo where she became the first Truman Scholar. Débora served as a HETS Student Ambassador, President of the Student Body Council, Comedy Club, ADEIC (Student Association for Internationalization), and Founding President of NSLS Inter-Arecibo.

An author (Movilidad Estudiantil en Acción), digital marketing consultant, and an advocate for access to educational opportunities programs, Débora serves as voluntary Executive Director of The Hope for Us Charity, Puerto Rico chapter.

Chinemelu Elonu

CHINEMELU ELONU

Co-Director

Graduated from The Texas A&M University-College Station, former draft pick of Los Angeles Lakers and current basketball player overseas.

He also started the “Agent of Hope” as a way to let people know that its possible to know that you can inspire anyone with kindness, lending a helping hand ,teaching someone and endless ways. You don’t need to be famous or rich to positively impact someone’s life.

As much as he loves God, Family, and Friends, he has a strong admiration when it comes to helping others in any capacity, he goes by the common saying that, "One random act of kindness does many great things for the world."

Being able to be a co-Founder of the Hope For Us Charity is considered an honor to him and this is just the beginning.

JOANGELLI GONZÁLEZ COMPRÉ

Community Engagement Coordinator

Graduated from the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus, where she studied civil engineering and obtained her master's degree in Transportation Area.

She was a recipient of the ABERTIS Highway Safety Award and the Eisenhower Fellowship for her research on highway safety in school zones.

She currently practices the profession as a project manager and serves as deputy treasurer of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE).

One of her greatest interest is educating and raising awareness about the importance of highway safety.

MARIMER GÓMEZ CLAUDIO

Marketing Coordinator

Graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, she earned a double bachelor’s degree in Plastic Arts & Art Theory. She earned her first master’s degree in Latin American Studies & Cultural Management from the University of Granada (Spain), and is currently enrolled in her second master’s in Digital Marketing at NUC University.

Most of her career has been oriented to Arts & Education in museum settings, such as the Puerto Rico Contemporary Art Museum (San Juan, PR), the Metropolitan Art Museum (New York, NY) and the Allentown Art Museum (Allentown, PA).

Now that she’s embarked a new career path, she is committed to fostering online communities of dialogue, respect & ethics, where the needs & expectations of different stakeholders are met.
